The Junior Aid Society's 3rd Annual Beach to Beach 5K Run was held on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 with a new more scenic course! Click on the photo to the left to see the course in a larger format or check out the our course map by clicking on the button below:

The race started at 10 am and day of race registration opened at 8 am. Pre-registration was $17 for Adults ages 18 and up ($20 the day of the event) and $8 for children ages 6 to 17 ($10 the day of the event). Children ages 5 and under were free. On-line registration was available at Active.com through May 12th at midnight. Our 2010 Beach to Beach Registration flyer was available on our downloads page.

The Beach to Beach 5K Run was professionally timed by North Shore Timing and the first 150 registered participants received a 2010 Beach to Beach t-shirt.
The Beach to Beach 5K's new course, which was USATF certified, started and finished at Devereux Beach in Marblehead, Massachusetts. The race course took participants through Marblehead's Goldthwait neighborhood looping back across the Marblehead Causeway, around beautiful Flint Street and back to Devereaux Beach to the finish line. There was a water station along the route sponsored by Fastenal. We also would like to thank Popchips, Cabot, Panera Bread and Crosby's for providing JAS with delicious after race snacks. All children who participated in The Beach to Beach received a medal and trophies were awarded to placed runners in a number of different categories.
