The Junior Aid Society's Annual Beach to Beach 5K Run will be held on Saturday, May 12th, 2012. We will again be offering you spectacular views and lots of fun! A course map for the race can be viewed on the side bar.
The Beach to Beach 5K will start promptly at 9 am and day of race registration will open at 7 am. Pre-registration, which is available through Active.com, is $20 for Adults ages 18 and up ($25 the day of the event) and $10 for children ages 6 to 17 ($12 the day of the event). Children ages 5 and under are free. Cash and checks will be accepted.
To get your body warmed up for the race we will have a DJ playing fun tunes and after the race there will be healthy snacks to replenish your energy. Junior Aid will also be offering chances to win some raffle baskets and prizes valued over $150 will be given to the overall male and female race winners.
The Beach to Beach 5K Run is USATF certified and will be professionally timed. The first 50 registered participants will receive a 2012 Beach to Beach technical shirt free and there will be more shirts available for purchase the day of the event as well. Awards will be given out in different categories and all children who participate will receive a medal. We are really looking forward to this event and hope you all can make it!
